I bought that bar for $230 and spend $450 for painted and fitted :) and this guy is asking $500 for fix the crack..

65km/h.. ? mine is around 35km/h. I mostly drive through the suburbs..60km zones

I suppose its a SIDI engine or you are getting it on freeways.

Now I am bit sad, as the front bar hit on the hump and got a crack :(

I thought there is a problem with my fuel injection, thats why I am getting low mileage !, seems like everyone is getting the same..its drinking petrol while in city, freeway driving happy..:)

Hi, Last day i drive over a humb and my front bumber got a crack, i am looking for an easy/cheap fix for it, any advices, attached the pics I checked with a bumber repair shop and they asked $550 for fixing it, I dont wanna spend that much as its an old bar

I have noticed that my right hand side headlight glob is not working. Is is easy to change my self or do i need to go to the service center/auto mechanic ? please advice..

SSSL all around mate, I have a VE commodore with HSV GTS E1 kit on it (incl side skirts), using 19" low profiles. Drives fine.

I am on the same boat, i bought all the extra peices to go on and waiting to find a cheap GTS exhaust. you need some hangers, bolts, heat sink, rear inserts etc, al cost me around 145$

There was a gts rear bar on ebay.. but it was silver..

thats fiber glass with the price of plastic bar.. :)

Dont know, a GTS rear bar will be a stright swap or not, by the looks of it, not.. but i will confirm it with some one, also will only go for it , if I can get an exact matching color, buying one bar and painting it cost more.. bars we can get around 200$ mark i think.. but prime nd paint...

I am not going for a HSV rear conversion, as its not worth for the money, anyways I am going to put a twin exhaust from a gts

That means 6.8/ltr in petrol , fuel consumption 14.70ltr/100km , its the same with me. good to here that you are getting 420km out of a full tank of gas. Probably i will convert mine to a gas.

I think that is the difference between the alloytec and sidi engine, alloytec will perform good in freeways, but it not design for suburbs, sidi is good on freeways and suburbs, gives you almost the same mileage

its was showing on my odo meter.. (digital meter that shows, speed, remaining fuel in tank, ltr/tank etc)

i tested it again on the weekend, on freeways as an average speed 90km/hr it shows 8.2ltr/100km , 60km/hr it shows 10.8ltr/hr, 35km/hr it shows 13.5/hr so what it means commodores are only good for long drive mostly on freeways, its not a suburban car. That is the only part I hate commodores...

Take the car to the holden, they check and reset the fuel cells , still the fuel economy sits in between 14-15/100. dont know whats wrong with it, my average speed is about 32km/hr

Yeah, Omegas are good in the highways, but on suburbs, the mileage is too bad

Over priced, really cheap here Holden Commodore Chev Badges or ebay

I got 9 in freeways and 14.5 on suburbs, and 17 in city or tram road on peak hours
