cool thanks guys .. just i was under the impression the heater tap would not be a full open or close thing that it would be bassed on how far you turned the heat dial.. will replace the tap and see if that helps. also will check the controler is adjusted properly. will post again if any more...

it now appears i been given the wrong starter motor, it stits about 1mm to close to the flywheel. the gears cant mesh the edge of teh gear i think is hitting the flywheel, hard to say from inside the car. anyone had this on their conversion ? or is the starter i been given jsut shoot
