I think there is only 1 switch so if it happens again get someone to see if the brake lights are operating.

It definitely matters if there is travel or not. No travel and the switch telling the ECU the brake pedals has been depressed won't operate.

I've got a set of VFII mufflers working on my VF Calais, I just switch the bimodal on and off. Nearly all driving is below 2000rpm so I was thinking if I could make the bimodals open automatically when revs go above 2k as that would be when I want the noise as I'm obviously giving it to it.

I think option 2 is out as my exhaust is 2.5" and the VF2 is 2.25" meaning the flanges won't line up.

I like the noise day to day but it's just too much on the hwy.

Are Bimodal Mufflers built differently? Obviously they have a butterfly valve on one of the outlets but are the internals different on the muffler? I have HSV headers and Walkinshaw exhaust/mufflers on my VF Calais Wagon (bought this way) and highway trips are a strain on the family ears...
