Is it possible to fit the tremec 6sp V8 gearbox onto a alloytec v6 that originally has the 6sp? Is there any significant differences besides the ratio or is the spigot different, or even the bellhousing. If it can be done what mods do you need to do to make it work?

Work out where it was rubbing, some carefully placed bends and washers could allow you to use it still. Otherwise theres no real danger unless you plan to do some burnouts for so long your exhaust starts to glow.
