Use a smalll blow torch on the engine block around the area to heat and expand it then try the 'easy out' trick... When i say 'blow torch' I mean the small gas ones that double as soldiering irons. Or you mothers/wifes.GF's Creme Brulee kitchen ones :P

When i got a new fuel pump my fuel gauge read ZERO for over 100 kms during which time i carried a 5L jerrycan in the car.

Diff Technics at Kogarah are great. they fixed my diff and they can convert your old diff to an LSD. it's a matter of changing out the guts of your old diff for a new or reco'ed LSD or whatever you want.

When i had 20's on the car with super lows it would never scrub under acceleration even with a full tank... It would scrub goin round corners, over speed hump ( if i wasn't careful ) and random bumps n holes on the road. Don't have any kind of scrubbing issue with the 18's now...

If it wasn't dangerous i'd be laughing my arse off at you... LOL I have no idea. have a look in your fuse box see if there's a relay that controls the lights. I recently had a relay (engine) clap out on me. Do you have a sparky mate ? let him have a looksee at it.

I can't remember what one it was. He was checking it out on the store pc and apparently they don't keep 'em in stock unless they're doing a promo sale thing so it's something they have to 'order in'. I'm waiting for the call back. i'll be dropping back into repco tomorrow to see whats up...

Here's a a few pics of my car with 20 inch and 18 inch wheels. The car has SuperLow King Springs and matching shocks. The guards have been rolled by the previous owner and again by myself and still scrubbed over bumps with the 20 inch rims. That's no longer a problem with the 18's...

I bought a pair of new bonnet struts off fleabay for $37 delivered. I unscrewed the torx bolts and then just popped the old strut off the ball on the other end. the end of the old strut broke at this point which didn't matter. It was going in the bin anyway...lol. v the new strut popped...

I was gonna ask the supercharged/v8 question too. In NSW P platers can't drive supercharged/turbocharged cars, V8's or basically any car with performance mods if i remember correctly.

Try the engine relay in the fuse box under the bonnet. Happened to me the other day. I would have been buggered if the NRMA roadside assist hadn't come across before. switch the high beam relay and engine relay ( they're both the same) and see if that works. :)

If QLD had their cars checked every year then they wouldn't need defect stations. Cars getting checked once a year is 'A GOOD THING' but every 6 months like someone mentioned in NZ is faaarking ridiculous and just plain overkill. are drivers so bat in NZ that all the cars need to checked...

vx_commodore... Yes the temp did get up that high but i shut it down straight away and let it cool off. I had cleaned MAF as well a couple of months ago. After the overheating episode i went and bought some new coolant. Flushed the radiator and refilled it.
