It does it when driving or idling, not sure if its compressor or fan but when ur in the car the fan does cut out, the first time I it happened I just turned the aircon off second time it done it about 5 times in about a 5 min period and then I turned it off, I just figured if it was running out...

Your Gas Might be off, one of my commodores (vt) was doing that and one day it looked like "smoke" was coming out of the vents turned out the gas was old and needed to be emptied and refilled again

Just had similar head issues with wh stato buy the new bolt rocker and head bolts and as for the two last bolts we were stripping brand new sockets with each bolt we undone so you made need new sockets

its all good i sold the car to a mechanic and i had enough money together to buy a vy. a bargain price at 4grand with only 163000 on the clock, and just to ease my paranoia i'm putting a new water pump on it. lol

The heads are totally farked need new ones and can't source any so I'm selling it as is. Very surprised so much damaged was caused in such a short amount of time 3 cracks in one head and two cracks in the other

alrighty fellas both heads are out and on the way to the mechanics woohoo!!!! as always two head bolts were being a pain in the arse, thanks to grandpoppy for gettin them lil buggers out... we'll find out soon whats wrong with them

We've stalled at the moment lol one head is still in the car pretty sure the heads are f**ked tho it's a good sign when you pull out the head bolts and coolant comes pouring out. Its a huge job trying to put the car back together and sort all the **** out, a job we don't know If it's worth it or...

yeah i think it went a bit too far for the chemi weld lol. anyways one head has been ripped out just got the 4 bolts on the other side to pull out tomorrow to get the second one out. and can i just say "driver's side exhaust bolts are a b*tch to pull out" $125 for sc heads sound like a good...

Pretty sure cracked head but the inlet manifold gasket is A1 the mechanic said its been replaced before. I live up on the north side of brizzy we priced new heads to look at the option of doing it our selves but the whole supercharger thing is something we don't know much we've owned a stack of...

they are pretty cheap to replace from the wreckers we had same side go on our clubsport, just make sure you get the right tool and you'll be right

yep and the car was beeping at me so i turned it off straight away weird thing was a whole week before that it sat on half temp (where it usually sat at) it didnt even look like over heating so the water pump just sh*t itself and caused the damage i'm still undecided as to wether i should sell...

Thanks I'm now debating to sell whole or wreck. I just can't believe how it's the one car that is regularly maintained and no 1 picked up the faulty water pump grrr
