yup front and rear gasket where replaced to, from what i could see they where sitting all flush, would an unsealed gasket cause this?

pffft why polish when you can paint :p hehe very easy to do lol, lightly sand to a smooth finish, no primer at all, just color, about 3 - 4 coats, then 3 to 4 coats of clear, let dry over night, cut an polish back, looks unreal, people where worried it was going to peel but its been done for...

have a question for you all, i have a set of near new ( like 50k old before i stripped the car ) rear VN rotors, im doing the brakes on a mates VR ( live rear end ), will the VN rotors fit the rear of the VR? both are v6's cheers all

yeh heard about that, thats why i went the K&N, think i might let this one go for a while and replace it with a Valvoline when i change in next, not getting any rattling ( apart from the usual bent push rod rattle lol ) but have had troubles with the ryco in previous years with premature seal...

yeh K&N wont fit, tried puting it in the other day and a big no go, iv got new engine mounts and it still doesnt clear the k-frame by about 2cm, even if it did it would be sitting on the P/S line, returned it for a ryco :)

good ol google for digging up this thread lol, but i just bought one, autobarn catalog says its the direct replacement for the ryco ( although the K&N is longer than the ryco filter ) should know in the next couple of days if it fits or not lol ( when i could be bothered doing the oil change lol )

ahh but you are wrong , the VS's did come out with cupholders, but after a trail run in the statesman's they wiped the idea out, as they found the condensation from cold drinks leaked down into the power window switches causing them to malfunction, so the wiped the cupholder idea if you can...

i thought it was a leak in the pipe so i tested it, not with crc thou

nope no splits/holes in the pipe/box or anything else

ill swap him my equipe for the grp a :p hahahahaha full 5ltr conversion ( k-frame, motor with accessories, auto, tailshaft, diff, radiator, loom anything else needed ) i can get for around $2000 lol ill just do the work myself :)

might sound stupid but you didnt mention it above, have you checked the leads? spark plugs?, fuel filter? tested the fuel pump?
