Can anyone help me to reassemble my PWR button assembly correctly? I pulled it apart ages ago and forgot how everything went back. I put it back together as best as I could figure out, but now the button doesn’t stay in when you push it in (ie no “click”, so it’s always out.

There's 6 screws. You're probably not counting the two at the very bottom, accentstencil.

I would have thought HSV would have had the rights to these plates - the TWR part is particularly important as this is frmm where HSV originated (Tom Walkinshaw Racing).

Check this out - a custom VIC plate "TWRHSV"...on a Mitsubishi 380. Hopefully this is just temporary and the guy is just waiting on delivery of a new Senator or something. But why would you put it on a 380 in the meantime??

There are 2 relays in the fuse box relating to the fan. One of them has a known problem from factory - mine had the same problem and the replacement replay was a grey SIEMENS unit instead of the black BOSCH unit. I think is was the "high fan speed relay". See if that's your problem. Hopefully...

Isn't "BT-1" the specific code for the police pack (as opposed to non-police government Commodores). No idea what BT-1 stands for. It's probably just an option code like "FE2" - FE isn't short for anything, it's just part of the option code for sports suspension.

My VY series II had it, but in the hidden functions. Turn ignition off, then hold "mode" + "set" down while turning the ignition to the "ON" position and it should come up with a serial/version number. Then keep pressing mode until you see "SPEED".

I tend to agree with the opinion about the drivetrain components - have a look at the rear suspension links, that looks quite different to the current setup. As for the flared front guards, I think these are the stock items, I'll have to look at my VZ when I go outside next to know for sure...

Yes I have tried this, I didn't note the exact consumption figure but there wasn't a huge difference. The PWR button changes shift points at partial throttle openings, but it doesn't change the shift point at full throttle, it will rev out to the redline with PWR on or off (sorry Misaprop)...
