ok so back off the hand brake a bit. you do that through one of the holes on the front of the rotor yeah ?. and nah it's got standard rims and no hub adapters. i actually disconnected the handbrake cable off the rotor completely. the rotor still wouldnt move :s

It feels as though somthing is holding the disc on though. the disc can be moved and it only comes off a little bit then moves back to where it was. almost as if the handbrake is still on ??

I'm trying to remove the rear brake rotars, and after severel attemps to hit them off with a hammer and mallet they still wont come off. the brake calaper is off and the handbrake is also off. any advice would be great! cheers

Just wondering if it is possible to install a sub into a vz sv6 without changing the original headunit. i.e can you create your own RCA input ?. tried to do some research on it but nothing came up :s

I recomend getting a high flow pannel filter with it, takes away a fair bit of that annoying drone and there only around 100 bucks

If you dont want somthing too loud then get a 2.5" catback with a rear resinator.... i rekon the resinator gives it a much better note, but it wont compare to a full 2.5" system with extractors here is one off ebay with a rear resinator: 2.5" CAT BACK EXHAUST VT VX VY V6 COMMODORE SEDAN +...

I have an auto :( but when i deccelarate then accelarate i also hear a clunk, i think it has somthing to do with the tailshaft engaging with the diff...... no idea but i do know its a normal thing to happen :p how loud is the clunk?

I've never installed them, i was just considering buying them, but it looks like they would just plug straight into the wires on the harness if you can find them :)

Alright, so does that mean the servo can wear out the Gbox even with a shift kit ? Definetly not a problem lol :p also does anyone know any good transmission mechanics in melbourne ill give them a call and get a price :)

I'm trying to harness as much of the stock power as i can cus its slow lol.....and i cant buy an V8 :( so ill give the shift kit ago , sounds like everyone loves them :) If i screw it up I have a spare gearbox lying around lol

I like the idea of firmer shifts, its just that some people say that there 'neck snapping' :P But yeah might be a good idea to start of with a servo first, looks a hell of a lot easier to do aswell. Cheers

As far as i know you cant buy genuine fog lights for this bar, you need the s/ss bar for those and the car should have the wiring there for the lights... i have the exact same car and it has the wiring there :p. If you really want them and dont feel like buying a new bar check these out...

yeah if you need to be a bit practicle you shouldnt have much trouble at all with the SL's and it would still look awesome ;) With the offset, the wheels should adjust themselvs and sit normaly, you dont have to worry about offset if your car is VT II and newer.

I put superlows on my vx with the standard weels which are 16's or 17s and i found that it handles much better and over all its better to drive, there isnt any scrubbing either, it sits jsut right. if you were going to go 19's i rekon you should get SSL, might be a bit hard but it would look...

that sucks, i'm thinking about just soldering some other globes on instead of getting replacements ones... dunno if it would work though :p

some of the globes behind my aircon switches have blown, so i pulled it all apart, got the old globes out then went to autobarn, supercheap, repco and even looked on ebay but none of them had replacement globes. does anyone know where i can get them from ? cheers.
