    Smith machine is a barbell that is fixed within steel rails, allowing only vertical movement. The benefit is that it does not need to be re-racked so good when exercising alone.

    if you have a decline bench (use one of those declined sit up benches if need be) you can use dumbbells. Something different if you want to change it up, really gives your muscles a nice WTF as there is so much more coordination required. Can't go as heavy as you can on smith though.

    sounds like incline bench press dude. Military press is on a 90 degree bench (or standing). Although generally you set the Incline bench at 30 degrees.

    If you wanna bulk up and you already have a lightning fast metabolism, it will help a lot if you quit all cardio. And there is a **** load of cardio in Thai and BJJ. All you'll be doing in those classes is burning calories. So you will have to eat even more to make up for that.

    My understanding of muscle shaping regarding biceps/abs/chest/quads ect is that it is mostly your genes which determine this. Although I have heard of bodybuilders getting masseuses to repeatedly tear and reshape a muscle so that it heals differently and overtime it just stays like that (ouch).

    Aeronautical engineering major checking in.... The helicopter's manufacturer is clearly to blame for this incident.
