Quoted $2200 to get heads done on a vn v6. Got it done, wasnt even the problem, it was dodgy injector wire. Quoted $1200 to replace air con compressor on ls1 vy.. $450 for the part, 1/2 hour job. Quoted $450 to replace tensioner pulley bearing on mazda6... $50 for the part 1/2 hour job.

If you're goin to put a 10-15w 30 you might as well put 5w 30 in.

Ide stick with what's recommended as far as oil viscosity goes. The fact noises disappear with thicker oil doesn't mean the problems gone, and you could be creating more issues by using the wrong oil. Ls1s are known for noisy top ends. As far as oil viscosity, my understanding is it like blood...

I had this in my old vn. It was just 2 Allen key bolts holding the shifter in place, put some loctite on them, tightened them up and it was solid. Take the centre console off and have a look at what's moving. Then go from there. My money is on those bolts though. Good luck.

It says that in my Gregory's manual also, but I don't think it's rite. I just read something that says the fuel system is return less that would mean the regulator is in the tank yeah? There's something that looks like a fpr between the fuel rails but it isn't rite? That doesn't make any sence?
