Pull the door trim off and the plastic sound/dust trim. The electric lock has a separate harness. Clean the earth from that harness that is screwed to the door. See if that helps. If doesn't clean the electric locking motors and lube. May be struggling to go up down from dirt

What is this VL volume 11 your talking about. Do you have one. Iv seen volume 8 which is Group A commodore and volume 9 which is 1988 SS Group A. I thought the volume 9 was walkinshaw? Also is their a volume 10?

Yea it will pass. Early VK actually had a small water deflector over the motor part #92020192 as well but were deleted due to the wiper motor being damage from possible water entry. To protect the wiper motor the plastic cover/bag was fitted part #VS16695

Iv seen the bumper bar badges come up on ebay but they are all the stick on types, in that saying they are genuine Holden but the original ones have 4 pins on the back. I have 1 NOS badge with the 4 pins on the back but haven't seen another in over 7 years off searching.

Ok just took my brand new Genuine one out of the box and the part number is located on the drivers side on the back at the top. Also has GM on the back where the centre badge goes. Cheers Mick

They are actually 3.5" I found the best quality to use is Polk Audio 3.5". U have to unpick the factory speaker from the cover and glue the cover to the new ones. There the best 3.5" speaker out there.

It's easier to do with the radio out as it's alot harder for it to sit in properly (always falls) with the radio still installed. Take the knobs off, undo the nuts, take face plate off and the retaining plate. You should now be able to remove the radio from the car. Once you have got to this...

Wot I did was pulled it apart and cleaned all the electrical components. It's gets black carbon in there like the window switches do. I just cleaned it all with CLR and came up like new. Then sprayed contact cleaner, Greased the shaft and put back together. Works a lot quicker now. Give it a go.
