Okay, bit of a milestone today. Car has reached its 21st year since production/build date.
Last year or so, fresh t56, improved engine breathing/ventilation system, brand new Coulson seat upgrade.
Recent update on this, SuperPro front radius rod bushes replacing the worn Nolathanes, replacement steering rack installed, new tie rods and a wheel alignment complete. Steering really light now, will get used to eventually. Slight oil leak still lingering above the oil filter location at the...
20*8*43. Rears guards not needing a roll on SSL, Monroe GT sports, front the same but only SL Monroe GT sports. No tuck, rolling 245-30-20, similar rolling diameter as 245-35-19
Re did the badges in the red ring, the supplied closed end chrome nuts didn't span there length of the upgraded rear lugs without movement at the mating surface. Factory nuts with chrome covers it is
Top sail plane spoiler as in the additional duck tail type slightly rounded off at the outer edges. Have seen it looking the goods on some, not so on others. Pass at this stage.
Might be a good way to hide the top sail plane failures out there. Hens teeth with the top mount brake light.
It's...
Coil overs next, slightly more lowered with some walls. Fresh oil pump and new pickup tube seal at the intersection. Few going for the top sail plane spoiler. Yeah, nah

OP chiming in... Still read the forums, still drive the same vy. Thread digging can be important as these vehicles age, the deeper the better on occasions.
Glad it bought up an interesting conversation for the asking poster and those still curious.
Appears the vz sedans didn't get rear...
Sitting around moving light, noticing the shadows, angles, depth of features on a vy ute. Rear quarter window shows up, curvature wasn't negated when they went to the more squared off look. Mirrors look good, suit the headlight structure. Rounded windscreen rubbers look slightly out of place...
What's everyone paying for rego these days. I payed $1120 for twelve months 03 v8 ute recently. Does it fluctuate much in different States and Territories? I didn't check out third party rates, just payed what the fee was.
barto88, I replaced mine about 6 weeks ago. I bought one online from ebay ($ 140) delivered. Have you the capacity to install it yourself? It took me a couple of hours. I also did a new waterpump and thermostat. If you have an auto make sure you get the radiator that suits.
Over the colder months you can do jobs like mulching, landscaping & yard clean-ups. A lot of gardeners offer high pressure cleaning of driveways too I've noticed. But you're right, the mowing definitely slows down by at least half in the middle of the year.
I'm soon to dive in the deepend and start my own business. Any other commodore drivers running a small business?
Additionally, what are forum readers paying for general gardening jobs?
Starting up in Surfers, can't wait.
