    this is very interesting I have vz sv6 the Ellery manual I have said oil capacity for oil change is 4.3lts and gen 3 v8 was 6,1 ltrs with filter mine has 4.3 ltrs edit just looked at owners book said 6.5 ltrs just toped up to right level NEVER TRUST A ELLERY REPAIR MANUAL THIS IS THE SECOND...

    Oil in airbox

    if pvc valve is shot you will need to replace rocker cover on that side think they are around $180 each plus rocker cover gaskets another $250 but you can get them off internet for around $100 non genuine try some wd40 in the holes and a bit of air to blow it out think there is a spring and ball...

    there are 2 earths that you need to disconnect one on drivers side head and one on passengers side think there might be one on the control box on front of engine drivers side make sure they are all conected

    spinning wheel stud

    cool that the other way at least its off now you might need a new hub there is a spline for the stud to lock on to stop whole thing turning if you put new stud in you will end up with the same problem again

    spinning wheel stud

    haven't had that problem before but the only way I can see is to split/cut wheel nut, drilling out stud will take awhile because its hardened but will be only option if you have alloys on, no room to split nut. good luck mate

    seen a write up on them a while ago would be a sweet conversion . Engine is different to the one here its a 4 litre block not 3.6 or 3.0 can go out to 4.4 litre heads are totally revised for turbo charging and larger displacement

    did you have the trans ecu reprogramed as well you could have lost flash tune on ecu would explain why you have lost performance mase do a flash tune on engine and trans ecu think it was around $700

    do you have info on reinstallation of chains my info is wrong so don't want to follow it for reinstalling the chains cheers mate

    also do I need to have number 1 at tdc when cams are reset there is no reference to tdc in any info I have so I assume if the crank is on the stage one mark it is in rite position cant go off cams to check as there are no chains on

    can you post the procedure or steps I need to follow to do it this way not sure how it was done bright links were not on the timing marks when I pulled it apart timing marks on crank were lined up then cam locks fitted still cant work out why it has number 4 inlet valves fully open

    if you lost a lot of fluid you will need to bleed the system as well there is a procedure to follow or it will have air in system and will continue to over heat there is a bleeder on radiator loosen bleed screw and fill system through filler on engine until fluid comes out off bleeder tighten...
