looks like you've lowered it judging by the way the angle the diff is sitting on? leaf spring suspension will torque twist when you accelerate, but will return to normal while parked or cruising.... it wont move around 'as it needs to' unless there is something wrong. you need to get caster...

conventional a/c pumps yes, but ve uses a variable displacement pump. it does away with the clutch that has either on or off.. it uses a solenoid that controls the amount of work the compressor does so to speak, allows for better use and control of the climate control system

also could be the petrol injectors leaking down flooding the motor, but if left for a period of time i.e overnight they petrol can dry out.... hence not a starting issue

you could probably try a thicker gearbox oil, it could possibly make it stiffer to shift gears when cold though
