I changed it a month back but only driven bout 200km since then. I just thought it would be cleaner by now but I didn't know about the pellets so maybe previous owner had some in there. The gaskets I removed looked ready for changing

I did manifold gasket and it seemed to go ok but I'm still getting gunk in radiator everytime I drive it. I flushed it about 5 times now. This is after 2 hr drive. I don't even know if its oil or what, it doesn't feel oily. Is it still leaking or something else? this is what it looked like...

Thanks guys you were right, it was just the belt making that racket. Had me worried there I stuffed something bad up. :D Found a leaky injector now leaking from the top of it. hope it's just an oring I've got to replace on it

I had some oil sludge under radiator cap so I replaced inlet manifold gasket which was obviously broken. Repair went ok and on first startup all was normal for a couple of minutes then some noise started and got louder and louder so I switched off. Anyone know what it could be? Car ran perfect...

i did mine today don't need a tech2 just aldl cable and vy instruments diagnostics software which i found on web archive, might be old software but still worked like a charm on windows 10 to activate police mode

I bought factory roof racks for my wagon it came with 4 screws and washers and a security key but theres nowhere to screw them into the roof rails. What am I missing? :confused:

I read a guide on here about putting the cluster in engineering mode by holding mode and set buttons while turning ignition on. It shows serial number and if last 6 numbers on it don't match the vin then the cluster has been changed. Seems my cluster has been changed at some point :(

thank for replies i like idea of reading vin on cluster to see if it matches. disappoined to find it's not odbd II on these cars as I have that cable :( if i get an aldl cable will i be able to read vin with tunerpro rt software?

What do you call the power window slide seal thing that goes up and down with the window to create a seal on outside. Mines all banged up and not moving with the window so water getting in and loads of wind noise . :(
