Mines sitting at 16l/100 at the moment there hasn't been many freeway driving, mines a VYII l67 calais, 87mm pulley (10 psi) and twin 2.5 catback so basic mods.

What tow bar do you have is the the square one or lip one ? Mines the lip one, is yours also a VY ?

yeah mines all on the drivers side, wiring loom for the trailer and all is on the drivers side in and then it leads through down the drivers side up into the parcel shelf into the beeper

So the whole loom and wiring going to the beeper looks fine, I have a hunch that the beeper itself may be broken, my wrecker has offered me one for $10 but not sure if I can be bothered ripping everything out and plugging it in to find it not working again

I got to the beeper after doing what you told me to and its all plugged in all the connectors have clips into them so don't know where it's gone wrong

pulled the fuse, yeh it was number 24 all sorted now, its not really worth it like they do the job at low to medium volume if youve got a fairly new head unit put in but if its the factory head unit they're terrible, going to pull them out and replace them with some 6x9s and an amp eventually

Lower control arm bushes were replaced when I bought the car as a part of roadworthy, it's got nolathane LCA bushes, the Z bar/radius rod bushes on the other hand are worn out and they're on the to do list so it could be that, noise only comes from the front left

I've rocked 5mm slip on spacers on the front for a few months and I've had no problems

here in australia youll struggle to rego/engineer a RB into a VY, cant have older engine than the car came with, go turbo LS if anything.

It ended up being the LIM gasket, so had them replaced with metal ones as well as a 82 degree thermostat, no more over heating problems now
