i have a crs s/c on my 94 vr and it has good punch from idle but a bit dissappointing midrange and it is a very noisy thing when going. seems to me that when it is switched off ive lost some power to what i had before without it. i'm taking mine off and selling it as i hardly ever use it.

im just tossing up whether or not to rebuild my v6, it has 257,000 k's on her and shes startin to makes noises. ive got a price for a full rebuild kit fom repco for $380 and i plan on selling my crs s/c to fund the rebuild as i hardly use it and its a bloody noisy thing when its on so its time...

i think u'll find that the bar is meant to be bent and u needed to adjust the spring on the bonnet itself.

try going to a different holden dealership

had that problem with v6 vr and it turned out to be the idle air control valve on the throttle body. took it to holden and they suggested pulling it off and cleaning with carby cleaner ( the valve that is ) as they tend to get a carbon build up and then put back on and reset computer to relearn...

just wanna let u guys know if u get the knock sensor engine fault code, check the plug on the sensor its self, last week while coming home from work the engine light came on and i done the paperclip trick and it came up with the knock sensor so i checked the sensor ( just above the oil filter )...

yeah maybe a squirt of something in behind the needle may fix it it doesnt worry me that much but knowing my luck when i go to get a rego check it will do it and they will fail it so one day when i get motivated ill take it out and have a look.

i have 94 vr and the needle on the speedo seems to be sticking when i start to take off, if i accelerate hard or tap the plastic on dash it moves straight off but if i take off normally it starys at zero till i hit about 50 km/h and ideas on how to fix this.

i had the same prob in my vr had to remove 2 hoses on out side and one from inside then twist it 90 degrees left or right cant remember then once its out u will see the pump on the sender unit and it just pulls out. dunno if vp is the same though

first thing i would check is ur engine fuse under the bonnet

you can buy the tail lights from autobarn in south tweed heads which is bout 20 mins south of gold coast for 300 i think i got mine from ebay

i had the same problem with my vr and turned out to be the IAC (idle air control) cost 80 bucks for new one and fitted it it 10 mins.

i have a 94 v6 vr executive and it doesn't have a speed alert thing in it it just has a little rubber coin tray where the speed alert should be. i was wondering if i get the speed alert unit will it go in and work and does anyone know if the wires for it will be behind the dash for it. thanx

i have kicker 7x10's, kicker 404 amp and a kicker 15in comp vr sub and i have to say that it is the best brand i have ever had and ive had kenwood, pioneer & sony stuff and they dont even come close to kicker for clarity and power. The 15 gives nice deep bass and packs some punch. recomend...

how old is the battery? ive had that happen to me i parked in drive way one night and next morning battery was flat as a tack. bought a new one and didnt have a problem again, they tend to just die without warning. new battery should fix it

yeah i took the shelf out and yes they fit in that easy. the 7x10's came with an adapter so they will fit into a 6x9 hole so maybe that raised them up enough to fit and there was no cutting already done.

i dont know but they did, the magnet fit into the original hole just nice and just screwed them in. had to fit them long ways and not across and theyve been in there for 12 months and havent come loose at all

to get front fade from an amp u need to have front and rear pre-outs on ur head unit i had a sony explode head unit and from memory they only had one set of plugs for the amp which means rear only. yeah im thinking when i relearnt the computer the temp was too high and computer thinks that what was normal operating temp is cold temp so im gonna reset computer again when its stone cold and see if it works.
