vz sv6 adventra off road tyres

It's a good point, I have had mine through mud but not that real sticky clay that comes away in big clumps, that could be a problem as you have indicated. In sand and all other surfaces 235 should be fine, I had mine using full suspension travel (compressed and extended) recently, I was...

vz sv6 adventra off road tyres

I run 34psi in the Coopers with no issues and the inherent floatiness of the Adventra has disappeared totally. I've got to say I'm impressed with their on-road performance too. The only mod to the factory self-levelling shocks was to slightly bend the switch lever, other than that they are stock...

vz sv6 adventra off road tyres

King Springs do a raised spring, the extra height is around 30mm, part numbers are in the pinned post at the top of the Facebook page. The Monroe GT Gas struts are available on Epay, they are a standard replacement strut for the Adventra, the rear shocks are factory standard self-levelling. The...

vz sv6 adventra off road tyres

I have Monroe GT gas struts up front, factory self levelling rear (LX8), raised King springs all around, and Cooper AT/3 235/60/17 tyres on standard factory alloy wheels. On road performance is excellent with a slightly firmer ride, no tyre noise, and greatly improved off-road capability...

My 05 vz clubsport, manual, NOW 427ci STROKED LS3 underway!!! Massive cam, forged etc

It sucks that you have to do an engine rebuild but in the end I'm sure you will be saying that it was worth it. Why not go blower, bang for the bucks they are hard to beat.

    Creating an AWD Monaro.

I have seen a Statesman dash put into an Adventra, so I'm pretty sure it could be done in the Monaro too.

    Creating an AWD Monaro.

Thanks for the video, and don't worry about the swearing, would love to see the other runs. For those that don't like swearing they can mute the run! Have you considered putting paddle shifts in for the gear changes? I have the paddle shift option in my Adventra, not that it is a sports car, and...

My 05 vz clubsport, manual, NOW 427ci STROKED LS3 underway!!! Massive cam, forged etc

Hi Scott Finally got a chance to read through your new thread, very nice ride mate. The under bonnet "sound pad" of my Monaro was looking a bit grubby when I bought it, I used the high pressure water spray at the local car wash to clean it up and it came out pretty good, not sure whether it...

    Maca's Fusion CV8Z Monaro

I won't be doing too much, updating the head unit, RIP Shifter - street version, a car bra for interstate trips, and update the lights. An OTR CAI and an exhaust upgrade may happen, but I pretty much like it the way it is, but I'm interested in what others do to their cars.

    oldholdensarebest - 2005 Holden Monaro CV8Z

Hi Everyone I have been a member for a while so I figured that I had better upload some photos of my Monaro. It is stock other than the lowered suspension and tinted windows. I will be updating the head unit for one that has built-in satnav and Bluetooth, and I will be updating the lights...

    Holden Adventra

I have towed many, many trailers with a lot of weight without issue. I have mates that tow race cars all over the country without issues. I have family friends that tow horses all over the country without issue. Until your post I have not heard of a single issue in this regard, something must...

    VZ Wagon Fuel Tank

Hi Guys Thanks to some lowlife drilling a hole in my fuel tank to steal my fuel, I have to replace my fuel tank. Has anybody here taken a VZ Commodore wagon (it is actually an Adventra but I think they are the same) fuel tank out, and if so, are there any dramas in doing so? Just wanting to...

VS Calais Air Conditioner Fan Problem

Hi Guys Thanks very much for your help and advice regarding the air conditioner. The problem was the amplifier which I have now replaced. For your information, the genuine Holden new part cost $250 which is just over the top as far as I'm concerned so I went to the wrecker and got one for $55...

I have a 2006 Adventra LX6. I do a lot of country driving along with monthly runs between Brisbane and Sydney. On those trips the best figures I have seen are 10.8l/100km. On the more regular country driving this increases to 11.7l/100km. My car has active select and I have found that driving...
