Yes. I can confirm this as well. I had the same problem when installing my set of Alcons on my SSV. Had to order a set that fit the HSV's as the banjos are definitely different.

I have just purchased and installed a 2.5" manta catback (with centre hotdogs) from Not_An_Abba_Fan. This is on a MY08 SSV Auto. Nice burble at idle and awesome when it kicks down a gear or two.

That short bar with the hook on the end is a total biatch. Managed to get it off easily enough but to put back on....... All good now and have an operation door latch again. BTW T25 for the torx screw to the door trim inside the door release handle and a T30 required to take the entire...

Drivers side door lock actuator has been playing up lately so have just bought one from spare parts (entire unit). Before I book it in to have the stealership replace it. Is this easy enough to do myself? Could not find it in any searches. But have found the VE door removal in the DIY...

Just curious to see what others are seeing on theirs (if you have them) while driving. Mine starts off around 14.5+ and sometimes goins down to 12.8. Is 12.8 too low?

What are the payloads for the VE utes. 6 cylinder and 8's? I cannot find them on the Holden website.

I have done a search but cannot find an answer. Before I shell out for a set of Alcon 365mm x 32mm brake kit with the 6 pot callipers. Has anyone fitted these with a set of 20" Supersport rims?

Plus coilovers do require rebuilding every other year depending on km's travelled.

Coming from Subarus. It is the same. It does not matter about offsets. It all comes down to the design of the spokes and how much clearance there is behind them. I am looking at a set of Alcon brakes in the future and will have the same problem.

Camaro V8 runs staggered fitment as do HSV since introduction of VE commodore. Camaro V6 runs the same rim specs frt & rr. Camaro rims to suit camaro wheel base so the offset is not right for VE commodore as our wheel base is different to the Camaro.
