add it to your oil already in the car (that you are about to change) run the car just idling, (for certain amount of time , on back of bottle) then drain out completely, then replace oil filter and new oil.

seem every one has their own opinion, so just go with what you find that works and your comfortable with. I used to use 15w40 magnatec in my mums vx brought its at 46,000kms sold at 268,000kms changed it every 8,000kms on average (using a bottle of nulon engine oil flush ran in about 20min...
