I've seen that, (Thanks anyway) but I had also searched the other number and a member had suggested that THEY were the V6 ones.

Just an update. Took car for a drive on Saturday with 5 people in it and it was still doing it up a hill at 110km/h.(In 4th and lock up, just goes in and out of lock up constantly) Slowed down to about 80km/h pulled it back to 3rd (with lock up in) and worked just fine. SO could it have a TPS...

There's not that much really is there. The VZ Calais have 225/50/17's so i thought they'd be easy to get. May just have to get air shocks (or bags) to help the suspension a bit.

235/45/17. Currently have 225/50R16 on at the moment.

Just thought that the 225/50 would be closer to the original tyre size. Don't mind if the speedo is a little slower anyway.

Hi Just wondering how 225/50/17's would go on a VS? Mainly the gap between the struts. Would it be too close to be safe. I carry my teenage kids in it and the 235's become a problem when the kids & luggage is in it. Thanks in advance.

I was able to do it without taking the starter off. You also have to modify the bell housing (RHS where the exhaust goes past it) and use a different gearbox mount. Also note the the factory exhaust mounts are not used at the rear of the gearbox.

I got some from Holden and it was enough to do both bars. It was about $55 i think.

All i done with mine, was to get a A/C button and some harness from a VN and put it into the section under the radio (where the security light is), and hooked it up through accessories. This way it can come on or off when i like, whilst the accessories/ignition is on.

Would i be correct in saying then, that it's REALLY not much difference in Torque & Fuel economy loss, well not enough to worry about anyway?
