I can’t feel any movement in the ball joints when jacked off the ground but that’s not to say they aren’t buggered, would have thought ball joints would shake at a lower speed and for a wider speed range

I’m wondering if the struts may cause this as well if they are buggered?

Just the steering wheel, haven’t done steer balls or rack yet, I bought it stock standard and it had no shake, put on 2nd hand 20s and was shaking, got them balanced and no diff. Just put new Simmons mag and new tyres with no improvement just a change in the speed when it starts to shake

Exactly, my oil had no rise on any contaminants/acids or dust. Every test cost me $25 so i spent $100 on testing after my 1st oil change, I was then satisfied that my eng/driving was good for 15,000km so instead of spending $150+ every 7500km doing an oil changes it payed for itself...

Exactly, every engine and situation is different that's why you cant just do 1 test and read the results it takes a couple of tests, hence why i did 3, they do add a comment but its a general comment that' s written on the basis of a baseline, i didnt and they dont have a baseline for the oil...

Depending on your budget i'd do diff gears and tune over cam, $2k for a diff and 1-1.5k for tune/OTR vs a Cam of about 6K. I got cam put in my car and was impressed but doing the diff after the CAM it is now WOW!

They are better to change with IMO and worth it, also it could save your clutch, i went from 2nd to 5th giving it a gutfull and burnt my clutch badly on a ute i had, rip shifter stops that from happening.

Not sure about legals but you can get the same style light for $144 on flea bay

I got a VCM11 fitted to mine about 8 months ago, Auto and No stall, love it, Lumpy as, does pig root a bit but i like that too lol, massive difference when you hit 3000rpm. Changed my diff gears to 3:45 and cant wipe the smile off my face when i drive it.

Put a VCM11 in it, Im not disappointed at all i just dont think the 5k was worth it. Not going off actual recorded data but 0-100kmh feels the same as a tune, 100-200kmh is where the CAM comes into play and the OMG factor. but when are you going to do this, i cant see myself using that power...

I test drove a cammed calais in Sydney (MEANV8 plates) it was doing the same thing, doors kept unlocking and locking, lights flash up on dash quickly etc etc and kept blowing tail light globes, i couldn't risk it. Doesn't help you much so i hope you solve it without costing ya to much.

I recently got a cam put in my VESS - sunday driver, the lumpy idle sounds great, the dyno sheet looks good but to be honest the 5k isn't worth it, a good tune would have been enough. Good exhaust that has the deep sound without being annoying is the key lol.
