Want the best bang for your bucks? cut all the way around your air cleaner housing so that the filter element is fully exposed. Basicly like the chrome ones shown on this page.lets it breath heaps better. reportedly good for 14hp. either way i noticed it made a big difference when i did it.

did u reset the computer afterwards... not that it sounds like it'll help much more than the matches will. You could always take it somewhere dodgy and forget to take the keys out. then u can get the insurance company to fix it :)

Nots sure how the TPS comes into play tho - might even be dodgy wiring somewhere. I guess if all else fails you could always get the box manualised. Just a though... have you replaced the O2 sensors at all? I don't know if they could cause the problem but if they are faulty you will loose power...
