Cheers for that Ill have a go at changing them myself. I thought id ask them to do it when I dropped my car off for its service as they need replacing but I should have know they'd try to charge me an arm and a leg.

Every HSV I've seen at driving at night their DRL's are always off, some people with HSV's modify the wiring so they are constantly on.

To be classed as DRL's they can only be on when the headlights aren't on.

I need to remove the front passenger seat in my ute as I wish to install an amp under the seat. I would like to know what torque the bolts holding the seat to the chassis in should be tightened to? I know most people don't worry about torquing the bolts or just use some locktight on the thread...

I have alpine type R running off the stock head unit and not amping them was a big mistake, hence why I have now bought an amp to run them properly

Loving your install so far, it sucks VE's get alternator whine so easily which is what made me hold off installing my amp and sub for now. Keep up the good work keen on seeing the finished product

They haven't put the crossovers in the footwells by any chance have they? because that's caused terrible whine in my car.

Oil cooler looks great, just curious, when you get your SC kit will the oil cooler need relocating to make room for the intercooler?

Orssom perfomance have an OTR intake for SIDI engines

A 4" speaker should fit but I would do a test fit if possible to make sure it will go in as you might need to slightly modify the housing where it will sit, I used a 4" Polk speaker and it was a tight squease to get it in.

You can buy a second hand headunit but you will need to get it reprogramed to work in your vehicle, or you can buy a brand new unit from JHP. I know that no limit electronics can reprogram second hand head units and the HVAC.
