UPDATE; white walls a still a no show, but i knew someone who was wrecking a calais so i got some white mirrors :) They were a bit harder to install then originally thought! all installed; i also did a bit of touch up paint work. cheers!

loving the suggestions man, but mine were not rasied out like that, all what was there was a thin tape like strip. know anywhere where i can get the raised ones, ive seen the chrome calais/berlina ones. they're nice. cheers :D

UPDATE; took of them pesky black trims on the bumpers, looks a lot cleaner! next up is the door trims, anyone have any tips? its going too be a tough job. also im still waiting on the white walls, should be here soon!

yeah guys, spot on with the lube, they fitted it for the gas, as it drys out a lot of the stuff in the motor. yeah mate thanks for that! i got some paint made up today too match my paint more. i might do that today! cheers!

haven't had an update in a while, because iv'e just got my p's and petrol has been killing me. But, i got these off a mate! got them installed and painted them; Of course the exhaust note is different, But i feel the car is more responsive!

Had a bit of a mix up with the front springs, but finally ordered the proper fronts. Super lows should be in the front within a week!

I have done as said and I am unable to be able to get the strut low enough to get out in the wheel arch.. Any pointers on how to jiggle it out?

hey all this has probably been covered somewere but i could not find it. First up i have expirience fitting front springs properly, i have spring compressers ect, and i have fitted front springs too a couple of cars. BUT, with my VL it is a tottally different set up, im just wondering...

A LOT of people dont understand this. But in order from highest to lowest it is Low, Super Low or ultra Low. On Ultra Low Springs it will say SSL, call it whhatever you like, its the lowest. oh and btw you can get different sizes for different cars, so dont reply to this saying i have sssl in...

lowerd the rear, i got my hands on some 'ssl's' or 'ultra lows' sits a tad lower then expected.. lemme know what you think. it should look a lot better and even out a bit once i get the fronts. 'sl' it should sit about 2cm higher then the rear. cheers

I think that the cables are pretty safe from hitting the cam gear, they are cable tied too a lead that runs accross there normally, which is tight as hell, so the only way for them too hit id for the cable ties too snap.. as for the wear, i never thought of that. putting the leads this way...
