I did check, one wire has 12v on it the other doesn't, I assume it gets power from the door switch. If it wasn't grounding it wouldn't go at all but does. only thing it doesn't do is come on when door opens. Other map light works fine and swApped them over also. Same result

Hi guys, one of my rear map lights isn't working when the door opens, I've put a multi meter accross connections and found the light is not getting power when door opens, I can switch it on manually from the next position on the switch though.

The rubber on the new shock is very hard, that's what I'd say is stopping it from compressing

Both shocks are the same length but the new ones won't compress nearly as short then the old ones, am I safe too compress with a jack perhaps?

The system has always worked perfectly, even this morning it worked, fuse is fine!!! Only since installing the new shocks has it stopped pumping.

So why are a lot of fans coming on at 3/4 temp? I read somewhere that there is a thermofan sender also, true or false?

Yes the fan does come on at 3/4 with the new cts still wish it would come on at a lower temp preferably, temp stays a lot lower with aircon on

It's not over heating, I just want the fan to work and I do have the correct senders.

Ok guys I've done a heaps of reading, my fan is not coming on at all I've got the engine right up to 3/4 then shut the engine off for obvious reasons. The fan does come on straight away with air con though. I've replaced temp gauge sender and coolant temp sender with the correct holden part...

Ok I used the spare key and that fixed the starting issue, I'll move out the metal nub and try the first key. When I adjust the cruise switch it either doesn't let cruise work or brings on low traction lamp on dash ( I have replaced all bulbs with LEDs in dash btw)

Guys my delft blue Vx is parked on the street unfortunatly and I'm worried about the paint stuffing up, will wash/wax car wash help preserve the paint once a week?? What else can I do besides car cover which won't be an option.

Just did the coil pack test, took the first two leads off coil and looked for strong spark, all three coils looked good. If I push the accelerator slowly and rev it the engine sounds smooth as, if I go full throttle from idle it misfires straight away off idle. I've plugged in my autel...

Hi again, still having issues!! I changed over the battery in my car to a better century so that rules out the battery, terminals are right also. as you can see the positive terminal gets so hot it melts the red cover. Thoughts on what is pulling that much current ?? I have a connector...

Ok guys I swapped batteries over from my vt into the senator and it's running perfect now with no faults at all, so the battery was at fault. Very happy and thanks for all your help :)
