extractors are all ways a good start but when picking extractors make up your mind wheather you want more power down low or up high in the rev range but for a v8 i would go a single 3inch myself.

just check 4 a intake mainfold leak with engine idling put some oil around mating the sureface off the manifold to the head using a oil can or something just remember to clean up your engine after
