The old VS box is ordinary, thats why I thought that the VX (50,000 K's) would be suitable option, depending on what problems that would create.

The hubs being bandied around on eB*y aren't cheap , around $200 +. Can you just use hubs from a VT onto the VK-VP spindles? Would be far cheaper if possible. Any thoughts.
