Hi. thanks for that. The VR has one as well and I made sure not to lose it when doing the swap over. The old girl is still good on the road and all that, just a few minor problems with the gear change. Still very drivable.

Hi Mace I have done the same and got a 70mm throttle body for my VR off Trademe over here in NZ. The only problem is that it now idles at about 2k rpm and does not change gear like it should(it's an auto). Took it down to Pit Stop and they said the Trottle position sensor was bung? Any help...

I swapped out my standard trottle body for a \70mm bored out one from a mates VR and now it idles at about 1500rpm and seems to not want to change gear? Any help? The guys at Pitstop said it was the Throttle position sensor????

Help, I need a right hand tail light ( blacl altezza style). Was cleaning them and dropped one, smashed lense.

pulled mine out and no problems that I can see/hear. May idle a little rough but not really noticable

Just asking mate. removed the bell mouth and put in a stage 3 memcal as well. Seems to be running quite nicely now.

would mounting a pod filter, after cutting a hole in the bonnet and covering with a scoop, make a difference? I have a "short ram" set up at the mo.

Hi Mace, I have a 93 VR V6 and was wondering what mods would you suggest to get the old girl moving along a bit quicker? I have already put in a stainless air intake with a pod filter on it. Also has a RPS rear muffler with no cat.

Nice VR. I have a 93 that I'm slowly doing. Just put stainless air intake pipe work and k&n pod filter. Got a bored out throttle body but not in yet. Brought paint etc...also one of those "v8 supercar" front bumper. Now I have some more ideas from yours.
