Hi Shonky, yes a V8 CAT back system will go with the V6

there could be a possibilty that it could actually be the shift solinoids as well as my VR did the same thing until i changed the solinoids, now the changes are unfelt, and my tranny has 380000 on it at present

If anyone is in the Latrobe Valley area of Victoria, just thought that I would let you know that I got NATRAD to do my heater core on my VR and with top/bottom hoses replaced with full system flush only cost me $550 including parts and labour as opposed to HOLDEN quoting me $1400 for the same job

I have bendix on my VR, and the ones they are ceramics and worth about 80 at supercheap and so far not a problem at all

May look a bit different to the 1 i have posted for you as climate control will be slightly different but if you can follow the galv piece back to where it is and you may be able to find where is goes straight away, just make sure to play with the dials

I only took a photo of the heater control switch on the heater box to help someone on the forum, other than that its lazy day today

what you would be best to do is post the pics of them or if no seek professional advice from someone that you can show first hand

Hey MGNick, if you look on the drivers side next to the footrest in a sense you will notice that there is a lug that moves slightly with a clip but what i will do is go out and take a pic so that you can see what it looks like

! way to tell is to compare it to the ones that are already on the car, if they are similar then should be all good, also depends on how low the car is to begin with as well

Yeah Dobby this could be the reason for it but then it would be best to get it checked properly or if not try a quick flush and see if you get any shavings out of it
