I am yet to see a stolen vehicle driven properly. They weren't completely normal kids either. The fact it ended up in a river and was stolen is highly likely it was being driven at dangerous speeds, it's not like he was driving for a Sunday arvo cruise down the road to the local shops.

Stealing a vehicle and driving dangerously, whilst endangering the life of the passenger gets no sympathy from my end.
