I put a tach in my vp exec not long ago. I used the brown w/red trace from the wiring loom on the drivers side under the dash. Easy as if you take the covers off under the dash, works fine.

I was told that you have to take out the whole dash.......? Gotta be an easier way though. Mine started leaking late last year, so I just by passed the heater tap etc so no coolant was leaking into the drivers aide footwell. Gonna have to get it fixed before summer comes along though.

Hey all. I just installed a tacho in my S2 VP executive and wanted to know what the rev range is? I took it for a spin and at 4000rpm it sounded like it was screaming! The tacho is set to the 6 cylinder setting........

Used the brown with red trace (factory) just under the instrument cluster. Heaps easier than going through the fire wall! Thanks bro
