Find somewhere safe and just hit the brakes activating the abs, then rebleed the brakes, I had no end of problems with low peddle of soft peddle after replacing my master cylinder,activated the abs lets the air pump its way out

I have 3 tunes her for mine and to be honest it's hard to tell them apart, I have a recent greenfoam, a mace tune and a torque performance tune, the mace tune is proberly the easiest of these to get contact with its a pity I don't have a standard tube to compare them to

I have checked the timing and it was spot on, still no codes showing, how ever when I took it for a drive tonight once only when I accelerated it was back to its old self, I can't figure it out, there is no missing or noise etc, just feels like your driving a old 2 litre car when you accelerate...

Any chance of a pic or more details of how you isolated it? I'm hacking the same problem with my vr ss, or any idea what wire the previous post referred to being burnt out?

It's just generally down on power, right across the rev range, got about 35 litres in tank still

Yep go for good rotors, pads and new fluid that's what I've done to mine stops well every time

Dizzy cap is only 6 months old, havnt pulled plugs will do tomorrow and will check timing also

I have a recent greenfoam tune in my car at the moment, it did take a while due to his health at the moment but I found that he did reply to emails etc so can't complain, I would rather wait than him rush a tune out and it not be right

Did you put a vt master cylinder in? Abs or not I had problems with mine turned out to be air trapped in abs pump

I have them in my car it's a personal taste thing if you like them use them people make their cars the way they want them not for others

I would just replace the panel, that's what we do with mine the panel isn't expensive by the time you pay a panel beater to fix your old one you could proberly pay for a new one

My vr mostly with round town is around 18-19 per 100km but it has a slight cam

I have 3 memcals for mine that I have tried although its a 304 I have a mace one a chip torque one and a green foam one all are similar to use no really noticeable difference between them I have never has a standard one in the car so can't comment on improvements

ssl rear springs 265-30-19's on rear

It all depends in the offset of the rim I'm running 245/35/19's on the front of my vr with no issues I'm guessing the issue with the ve tyres is the larger sidewall height on them

19x8 will be fine I have them on the front if my vr and 19x9 on the back of it no issues at all my front guards do have the lip rolled but I'm running the lowest king spring you can get biggest problem I had with the 19's is the hard ride with already lowered suspension

The cord to the trip computer is a separate loom but its easy to join in I done my vr ss in about 3 hours one afternoon just with a basic tools and the diagrams off this thread I printed the off so I had them in the car when I did the job but had no problems at all

I will give most anything a go if i have the time, except tyre fitting and wheel alignment and paint work

The cam can be swapped with the engine still in the car, we did mine in my vr with the engine in place,

I would price round I got mine done earlier in the year for under 600 and they changes front struts rear shocks and springs at the same time, I supplied all the parts except the rear springs which they supplied dropped the car off before work picked it up at end of the day all done and aligned...

Hi just wondering if anyone has had problems with tps errors with different memcals I swapped memcals a couple of months ago and have had to replace the tps not long after, and today I have issues again only done about 1000 km in that time

Yep it will still wear the inside edge of the tyres no matter what run/ tire size you have my camber kit cost me less than one tyre so it's money we'll spent

My vr has the zinolli dimple drilled slotted rotors all round no problems with them in the 18 months they have been on there

Yea I ended up using a bottle of redline additive the only oils I coul find with the zinc were synthetic

Striped down motor to put new cam in will finish it this afternoon then time for a decent drive

Hi what do people suggest I use when running in new cam the grinder said to use mineral oil with zinc but I can't find any only synthetic with zinc or normal mineral oil

I have used fully synthetic oil in my 304 for the past two years and the previous owner had also no problems so far

I f ally put it back together after installing new sub and amp setup

My ex father inlaw had problems with his starting and shutting off like that ended up being the battery in his key from memory

Just wondering if anyone has tried the boxes on eBay that fit inside your back guards I'm just thinking it would gve a better look than a big square box in the boot an feedback would be appreciated as the freight is a killer to get one to nz so thought I should ask first
