Thanks when I plugged it in the abs light was constantly on, so I unplugged it again. Also the temp needle stopped working when I plugged the connector. I guess I have to keep it unplugged like it was before.

In my statesman v8 there is an un plugged connector right above the battery. I have marked in picture. It connects to a box that has lines going from it. What is this coonnector for and what is this box? This is not my engine in the picture just a sample.
