I'm no expert. What I've read is this: mafless needs tune right away. MAF on, you can tune whenever, but need tune to get performance.

W84 advice is exactly what I'd say too. So, ditto.

Removing MAF breaches emissions law but people remove it anyhow. An engineer could certify that emissions is still being passed when mafless, but I don't know anyone whose done that. It's about 20 or 30 rwkw to get otrcai and tune.

Thanks guys. I'm really happy too. Probably no mods for a while. Going to get 3000km service in a fortnight, and will get some good oil put in like Nulon 5-30. Given I flogged it a bit I'd like to be sure there's no crap in the oil.

Phone integration, would it include steering wheel control? Would it auto mute music when call comes in? If no, then I'd say it's a half-way solution.

If you're buying an outcome like "300 rwkw" or however much, then how the shop gets you there wouldn't really bother me. Cam numbers don't mean much to me.

I like that green too! My daughter liked it, but wife was strongly against any colours. Also, green isn't a very good colour for work vehicle with me wearing a suit ;). I like the bright blue too, actually.

Stihl bg65, for sure. $200 I think. I got one recently. The Stihl starts easy and is light too. Will last for ages and is serviceable.

I'm going to try resisting further mods. The most likely in the future would be extractors, though. Oh...replacing the void bushes and new short shocks too, that's a higher priority. Next job though - have to clean the leather. It has sunblock hazed on the seats from my daughter.

Warranty isn't really effected by AFM disabled or not. Warranty is more about things like: if you put in new heads and cam, then blow up the engine, Holden won't cover the engine under warranty. Turning AFM off can't blow anything up or cause problems really.
