After changing the oil it is quieter, the noise is still there. I'm leaving it for the time being. Exhaust test came back as all good. Can only really hear it when at idle and windows down and head out window or standing outside idling car. Not audible from engine bay. Mainly near wheels.

Yeah getting a pressure test done tomorrow on exhaust. A pressure test will show up exhaust manifold leaks yeah?

im a bit annoyed at wollongong automotive services if its not lifters. they said i need to spend 3500 minimum to fix the noise. they had one bloke rev the engine while another listened down at the passenger wheel for the noise

i'll have to do some googling on oil accumulators. I was hesitant changing the oil from spec, the damn oil filler cap even stipulates 5w-30 you really think a different oil would be my answer? i've just spent $100 on oil today haha.

It had castrol in it from the dealer, I've put penrite in it for the first time. It seems quieter than it was with the castrol But again the sound appears to have migrated from the passengers side to the drivers side. Only happens when engine is warm too.
