Oh really, are you sure? I would have thought yours did.. Mine was only a VS Acclaim series 1 and it had the wiring and the terminals for the relay, so all I had to do was I think was put a fuse in, plug a relay in, and graft my switch in and it was all good.

I reckon the easiest, cheapest and quickest way would be just to add in the three wires or whatever the clock has to your Berlina loom. I'm pretty sure its just a constant +, - and an illumination. You would gain nothing from the statesman loom (except maybe security light, and possibly foglight...

The ECU and BCM on VS's aren't linked so you can try that different computer. It's from VT onwards they're linked.

Check your EFI relay clicks when you turn the ignition on. If it doesn't make sure the ground wire is grounded properly and done up real tight. Its in the drivers kick panel just near the ABS module

If you mean a groaning kind of noise mine does the exact same thing. Thought it was the thrust bearing but that would be when the clutch is fully depressed. Doesn't seem to affect my clutch at all though

When I did a body loom conversion in the VS I had the same problem. Turned out to be the earth wire for the EFI relay wasn't grounded properly. When you turn the ignition on get someone to hold onto the EFI relay and make sure it is engaging. The wire was just to the right of the accelerator...

I've got the 7.2 muteki also... It's loud, clear and really good sound (in my opinion), but probably lacking some of the features in the receiver compared to the Harmon kardon. It's just a bare bones kind of receiver. And yeah, can be found for well under $1000 now

Thats how they work. Whenever they can control the windows, they will be lit up. They will only go out like you said, once you lock the doors, or after 30 seconds after turning ignition off. Its not dependant on the headlights at all
