Hi all , I have a vf 2 2015 auto. the following has just been completed: standard service , mounts , rear brakes , seals in front motor area were leaking so they got done too and a seal somewhere in gearbox area , Mech made comment running lean and rich and there was a misfire. Codes cleared...

I was wondering if anyone can help me where to start on this one .I have VF series 2 auto .. I have other posts that are lengthy about issues with this car ... this has now started up since work has been done.... sits at normal idle then drops below .5 on taco , feels rough and rocks the car...

I have had two mech look at this one picked up half the issues the other came back with this list.

I’ll fix and ship it off in a few months I think. They quoted me a rough $2k to fix . I tried to attach a pic of the leaks but it won’t let me get a proper one up.

gear box yes ,they put 3 litres in gear box and the noise ceased

Ok so update: seal is busted in transmission, and as suspected engine front seal (?) is busted also, running lean (bad batch of fuel somewhere ) so got myself a pricey lil kick in the behind ;(

So jumped under the thing today .... a seal needs replacing in front of engine and looks like I may have a leak in transmission too as it has spread oil all over the joint. Booking the bugger in - it’s beyond my capacity to fix.

Thank you guys - I’ll replace bulb and do the headlight plug as suggested in next few days and see what comes of it thanks again ;)

this noise and issues happen when car is moving backwards in reverse not stationary,the noise seems to happen only in the mornings on first use of car for the day, I was inclined to believe that it may be coming from drivers side or from gear box and it can be heard inside the car and out side...
