I have these gears in mine and they are the best for a low powered L67n my experience,I have had 3.07 and 3.89 as well.The torque from the L67 does not require low gears as you know and coupled with the short 1st gear in the trans its still launches hard.Most people run mags and this alters...

Delete the boost solenoid,the mod is written up on l67 torque:) This will stop any electronical interearance with boost if its not operationg correctly.

The Brock manifold is the go op if you can get one otherwise the performer is the next obvious option. The torker is too big for your application as mentioned above also:) My matchported Performer was good for 115mph from 207rwkw in a full weight 308(cc272 cam,4200stall,4.11's)VH sl/e.

If numbers on a dyno sheet is all you care about then I guess its a "tad" low.So was my 308 207rwkw VH but it ran the numbers(11.88@115mph)that suggest it had around 230rwkw. My cousin had his VZ 6ltr tuned at KPM by the original owner and showed 291rwkw on paper,when run up on our familys...
