    Vn v6 turbo

Decided to install a decent clamped battery setup in the boot, I also removed the boot install I made a few years back, weighed everything up and ended up shelling 20kgs out of the rear of the car so thats a bonus. With the boot install I could never manage to fit my two slicks in the boot but...

How to remove Statesman VR Rear Seating?

The rear seat is just clipped in. You need to grab the front of the bottom half of the seat and pull it upwards. Once it unclips from the front you need to grab the back of it and push it towards the front of the car while also lifting it upwards. It will come loose pretty easy. The top half of...

    Vn v6 turbo

Had a blast at Mallanats on the weekend! Drove the car to and from the track without any issues which I was very proud of considering how much it has actually run in the last year.. She also stayed leak free all day which I was very pleased with after the last months efforts. Actually...

supercharging a vn series 1 motor

Its 10 times easier to get the factory supercharger and manifold then go stuffing about with cutting up your original. Even easier again you could just buy a side mounted charger like a capa vortech/ powerdyne for example.

Did you finally realise that mounting a turbo next to your legs is retarded? Or has someone just slapped you round the head and beat some sense into you?

    Vn v6 turbo

All of the electrical gremlins have been fixed by my auto electrician. The speedo issue was due to a crack in the flexible board on the back of the instrument cluster and the lights staying on was due to a short in my light switch on the dash. 2 of my head studs have started leaking which is...

    Vn v6 turbo

Made 316kw @the flywheel or 423hp in the old money. Just shy of 250rwkw on 14psi. My tuner thinks its easily got 18psi in it so we will have to see where the boost ends up for the final power figure.

VN and VP Calais becoming rare .. Dont see them much on the road anymore ??

^^^ He's talking about vn-vp calais not executives. Execs are everywhere, still see plenty round. Calais on the other hand are definately disappearing in numbers. I own a vn calais so the less I see the better. Should be worth good coin one day..

    Vn v6 turbo

Appreciate all the comments. I know it's been a while but I had to take a break from the car as it was taking up every hour of my spare and doing my head in a little. The car is 99% complete. Just have to run the starter motor wire, test the lights etc, fill it up with fluids then wack it on a tow truck and get it re-tuned for the new engine. I have pics of the engine bay complete with turbo but i will save posting them up until its running. :)

nasty noise upon trying to start vn, OCCASIONALLY. starter motor?

If it does it pretty randomly its a very good chance your ring gear has worn a few teeth away. Thats why you don't get the noise everytime as it takes a few starts to get the worn teeth touching the starter again. My vn calais had the exact same issue, I thought it was my starter. Replaced the...
