why would you need to prgram the BCM? i'm not planning on using the engine imobilser, or central, just the windows, interior light delay, headlight auto off/on radio power off when door open sort of gear. thats why i started the thread, too see if anyone else had played with this idea, i have...

well, the car currently has no dash, and the toyota motor is just waiting for the wires to be hooked up to fire her into life....so I guess i qualify for the 'anything is possible it just depends how much trouble you are prepared to go to with the wiring' catagory

it won't be that difficult just trial and error, pull the dash appart (just what you need to ) to access the tubes, start the car and you should be able to find the one that has vacum (i think it goes in the centre) the try the other lines on only one port so you can find what vent they control...

Sound like you have a few different issues going on. 1. now A/C system JUST needs regassing, plenty of places will do it but you will be back to werre you are now within a few months, get a leak test done, fix the leak then get it regassed, and this will need to be done by a pro, and it wont be...

Hey, guys, Does the ECU always show a code if the oxygen sensor is stuffed? as my fuel comsumption has dropped by 200km per tank over the last 2 weeks, nothing has been touched on the car in that time. Have check the ecu code and only get code 12. Could the oxy sensor be my troubles?

I just my VT brakes of ebay. $545 delivered to my door, with everything except a 1" master cyclinder. new slotted rotors, new pads, new steel braided lines, adpter hubs, wheel bearings and calipers. only but from this guy MR Spares, the others only supply the VT brake lines which don't legally...

You will need to use the 1JZ ecu if you are keeping the auto, i beleive only the high end micotechs are capable of controlling the toyota A340 auto. I know this from experence.
