    iphone 7

Not a lack of creativity, but poor quality control? Yes. Samsung washing machines even explode into flames and a washing machine is a vessel designed to work with and use water. I don't know about you, but being able to make a vessel full of water explode under normal use is pretty creative in...

    iphone 7

"But is exploding into a fiery mess a feature of the iPhone 7? No? Samsung has had that feature for aaages Apple is so behind the times" I'd rather have something that works and works well. You only really get that with a iPhone and going from mobile devices I've had the displeasure of trying...

JC Political Thread - For All Things Political Part 2

That includes state elections too for wa. Miss maud might have even been doing it longer than the 15 years too. Edit, after seeing it on the news just now, the bean poll has been going for the last 10 elections and out of those 10 miss maud has been wrong once.

The results from the miss maud bean poll are in. It's a win for the liberals. The bean poll has only been wrong something like 3 times over the past 15 years.

I happened to bump into Julie Bishop herself yesterday morning while she was out campaigning. We had a pretty decent talk and I was quite surprised to see her in my electorate and not in her own. I was even able to get a selfie with her. She seemed very confident about the outcome of the...

Well done that guy. GoPro on helmets win

I don't stick anything on my helmets because adhesives can degrade foam. I can't see any harm in attaching a camera to your bike, jacket or the like. Ever put super glue onto a piece of foam? Most glues will destroy and dissolve foam in no time and helmet manufacturers caution strongly against...

what to look for in a euro daily

my stepmum has a GTI golf and she swears by it. I personally don't like the styling of them. the accord seems like a good car so far, first impressions are good. it's a little camry like but that's all I really wanted in a daily in the first place.

what to look for in a euro daily

Thanks for the advice. I ended up giving the euros a miss, although I was really tempted by a Alfa 159 selestep. I ended up choosing a Accord Euro.

what to look for in a euro daily

I'm looking to get something smaller than a commodore as a daily, something euro. basically I'm asking if anyone knows what kinds of faults to look out for in the BMW's (3 series in particular), mercs and the like, besides the normal wear and tear. I've had my eye on a Alfa but I've heard...

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

I wasn't that impressed either. it didn't feel like star wars, not that I'm really into the series anyway. it feels just like any other franchise reboot. basically find a weakness in a super-weapon, then blow it up. been there, done that already. Ford portrayed Solo as a kind of drunk almost...

    Motorcycle Exhaust Noise

It's perfectly legal to do so in WA as long as all other traffic is stationary and you indicate (and give enough notice when indicating) when crossing the line and don't cross a solid line.

    Motorcycle Exhaust Noise

From what I understand, for a LAMS bike to be legal it must remain in the same state it left the factory, so a loud aftermarket exhaust or any aftermarket exhaust on a LAMS bike is illegal and makes it non LAMS compliant. As for the lane splitting/filtering, I don't do it myself, but when you...

So it's bad management when a business can't minimize the tax it pays within the law, but it's not bad management and a union's fault when a company like Holden can't afford to pay its manufacturing team it's wage?

    VZ V6 Starter motor Click

my WK Statesman (V8) was doing something similar a little while back. I would turn the key but get a single click and then nothing. I would try to start the car again and it would start second go. I changed the starter relay in the engine bay fuse box and that fixed the problem for me. I hope...

    iChris' Suzuki GS500F

Yeah I'll need to consider them now. I'll look at getting them installed at the next service. The brake lever and indicator took the brunt of the fall by the looks. For now the bike is rideable, in retrospect the damage isn't all that bad and is more annoying. The cracks around the indicators...

    iChris' Suzuki GS500F

I rode to work the other day and some douche knocked it over in the carpark. I found it on it's side when I finished for the day. the fall snapped the front brake lever, scuffed the muffler, engine cover and bar end and knocked the front right indicator though the fairing. installed a new brake...

    vx wont start

Does the immobilizer light stop blinking when you try to start the car? Sometimes the contact ring around the ignition doesn't connect properly with the metal nipple in the key head to shut off the immobilizer and the car won't start.

From what I understand the prediction was for a 12% swing against them. I think it was about 7% when the votes where counted. Still not even close to the prediction. Given the sheer amount of postal votes that where done before the leadership change, I'm sure there are some voters who regret...

I was waiting for you to post one of your "if you don't vote the same way I vote you're a filthy communist" posts and here it is. Considering it's a bi election that is only concerning the issues that face my electorate (which you know nothing about anyway) it's not really any of your business...

So it looks like Bishop and Turnbull have challenged Abbott. Twice in one year? Have they turned into the ALP? On another note, I've got to vote on Saturday and I'm still undecided. ALP has a slimy lawyer running for the spot and the libs have a soldier, but one that happens to be a bit of a...

    Refugee crisis - Europe/Middle East/Africa

for me the "do what we can" approach should be to help them to help themselves. in this case Australia can take in 20,000 refugees or a million but that won't stop assad from waging war on his own people or isis from butchering it's way across the middle east and displacing these people. if...

    iChris' Suzuki GS500F

Yeah I've been looking into oggys but I think I'll need to cut the fairings to make them fit. The bike has had very little use, it's got a grand total of 1,400k's on it so I'll probably start thinking out new rubber a little down the line.

    iChris' Suzuki GS500F

The bike was struggling to start sometimes so after having the battery load tested it was made clear that it was failing. I walked out with a sealed motobatt battery. I don't want to risk a leaking wet battery spewing acid on my bike. Also passed the riding test so I'm now licensed to ride...

    P Plate driving prohibited vehicle

Or just move to WA where we don't have backwards nanny state laws. I learned to drive in a XR6 turbo falcon and got my first V8 when I was on my p's. I never crashed or killed anyone. In fact it taught me to be that little bit more careful when driving a higher powered car. Where you caught? If...

thanks. I'll keep that in mind. just got to polish up a few little bits and I'm good for the test. I'm not in any hurry to pass it anyway. I've just been trying to do lessons whenever I can. it's a great bike to ride. the gs500 is basically the camry of the bike world so I'm told. I had my...

You mean good riddance to a MP that was only speaking out for their electorate? Don was very popular in our electorate and was extremely vocal about the issues we face. Other WA liberal mp's that wanted Abbott out are only doing the same. They're looking out for their electorate and what we as...

Abbott government MP Don Randall found dead such a shame, Don was my local MP. he did a good job as a strong voice for Canning and pushing the issues that we face. Ironically he was one of the MP's that was vocal about not wanting abbott as PM and him being the wrong person for the job. he...

I understand that, but trumpeting on about how they stopped the boats (which is exactly how Abbott words it) isn't the right thing to do because people are now going to be "lol they didn't stop the boats, lol the age of entitlement is over for us but not for politicians claiming ridiculous...

But I thought that the age of entitlement is over? A "suspected" asylum seeker boat has been spotted off Dampier here in WA. (Only 1500k's north of Perth) More embarrassing news for the government who has trumpeted over and over that they have stopped the boats. In fact a asylum seeker boat...

    Vz wont start sometimes

I haven't been able to get it to replicate the clicking noise in the last few days and it hasn't given me any more issues. still I want to look into it and have it sorted before it gets worse. I pulled out the pictured relay and one of the pins was discoloured so I replaced it.
  36. iChris

    Vz wont start sometimes

here's a video I took that shows the issue. sometimes the pause between the click is several seconds and it will then start. http://vid1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag79/uliekthis/5A0EA4FA-AA0A-4EAD-B546-99E3F09AFA62_zpswjculf5n.mp4 edit; so what will bridging that relay do? besides bypassing it?

    Vz wont start sometimes

sorry to bump a old thread, but I'm having similar issues with my WK but the problem has only just started. when I go to start the car sometimes it will just make a single "click" noise from under the hood. I try to start it again and it will usually start second time. last time it did this...

    Exan's VZ SS

will do. I haven't actually rode it yet, I'm just using the instructor's bike for now but next week is my first lesson on it.
