So looks like it was the crank angle sensor. Go it looked at finally yesterday and hopefully have it back by today. :)

Hi Guys, Been having some trouble with the daily over the last week. Have tried fixing it but can't seam to work out what the problem is. It's a VY Spack (V6 Ecotech) that has done around 130000k's. So the missus was driving it and apparently the motor just cut out... i went down there...

Also, side mirrors, can they be swapped with any other model or make of side mirror. i don't really like the way they sit. The general shape is alright but if they came out of the bottom of the triangle piece instead of the top they would look heaps better imo.

thanks everyone for your opinions... when the time for new wheels comes i think i will be going with a nice aftermarket wheel. Lowering is the next thing on my list tho so ill try get that done first :) Vs hsv manta - ill prob just get the spring first and see how she fits, then if it needs cast...

Not after the factory look hey, althoug i have to say VY sigs look pretty mad on vs clubbys. The rims that are on the car now are not going to be the final wheel, im not the biggest fan of them on this car, in saying that they are stayin on for a while so i don't have to look at the tri-spokes...

yeah i got a mace throttle body like 2 months after i bought the car but it hasn't been registered since then sooooo yeah haha

wasn't going to sell the tri-spokes... but they are ugly as ****. i get that they are original and all that 'mad' stuff but i don't like original. I doubt that these 20's will be the final wheel for the car, but they'll do for now cause they are free :)

Cheers man. Not any real thoughts on cam, intake , exhaust yet. maybe a C.O.M.E. racing intake mani... but like ill ever have to dosh for that (bout to have second baby lol) what would you recommend on the subject. I did think about fully adjustable but i don't think i would really ever need it...

yeah mate i found vs ultra kings and monroe short shocks for front and rear at a decent price, so ill prob go with that for a start. just gotta come up with the $$ now haha.

Thanks for your opinion :). The wheels aren't bad, just not the best on this car, they looked good on my VY. As for the tri-spokes, i would be worried about the 'classic HSV' if it was a GTS, but its only a clubby mate, there is heaps of them. I like modifying cars, not leaving them stock.

Wheels... Should look a ton better once its on its arse.
