Hi, I bought VF11 Redline FE3 suspension and fitted shocks and springs. I am very happy with the ride of my Calais V V8. The donor car only had 5K. I did not change the sway bars. I have 20 inch SuperSports on my Calais.

I have a MY15 Calais V V8 and I love it. Fitted FE3 suspension, a tad hard, and spirts exhaust. It drones a but sounds great. 20 inch SuperSports with Bridgestone RE050. Just clicked over 21K.

I have all 4 cars insured with GIO and found them more than satisfactory. I'm sure there are people that have had unhappy experiences with most companies. I can only say how I find them.

I found GIO Platinum insurance the best for me. If written off or stolen and not recovered I get a new VF Calais V (not possible) similar car(my choice) or my purchase price back. Seems good to me.

I have Platinum insurance with GIO. The policy states if vehicle is no longer available and a suitable replacement id not AGREED upon the full purchase price will be refunded.

Certainly a lot more good reviews than bad. I am willing to give him a go.

After reviewing all the input I WILL be buying a J-LED kit.

I still haven't had it done but the guy who was doing it for a Melbourne company, is Justin on 0412 293 606. He used to operate as DoubleDip and do VE stereo upgrades. He is north west of Sydney. He was in The Ponds and moved about 12/18 months ago. Let me know how you go. Rod

Has anyone successfully dyed the light coloured alcantara? My Calais V has the beige alcantara with black leather and I want to change to the dark grey. Any ideas, suggestions would be appreciated. I do not want to swap my seats as my car only has 16K kilometres.

Just had a wheel alignment done and a front wheel balance. Will chk it out this week and see if any different.

I had my EPS done a month ago and I feel that the steering his heavier. My car was in for service yesterday and I asked about a wheel alignment and was told it is bot necessary as the rack isn't changed or even removed. Coincidently a guy with an SV6 ute told me he felt his steering was heavier...

My Calais V was done on Monday 16th Sep. They had the car ALL day. Not sure why it takes so long but it's done.

I was wondering too. Only about 4 small flies/bugs but they will drive me crazy. Thanks, I will give it a try. Bought the lights s/hand to fit to my Calais V. Apart from the bugs they are 98% perfect.

Does anyone know how to remove bugs/flys from inside VF Redline sedan tail lights without damage?

To be fair Justin does exceptional work and is very busy. I do not know of any other guy doing the TPMS flash in Sydney.

I have an MY15 CALAIS V and didn't have TPMS as standard. Very disappointing.

Hi, I fitted twin pipes to my VE series 2 V6. The VF should also be a simple swap. I think the VE sounds a bit better and certainly looks better with four pipes.

Replaced omega radio with sv6 stacker radio. All good reprogrammed by member and has been working fine. All of a sudden controls on radio do not work but works OK off the steering wheel controls. Any ideas, anyone?

Can anyone recommend an auto electrician in Sydney or the Central Coast who can get Caprice seats to work in a 2009.5 OMEGA? I have read all the threads relating to this but my auto elec says it cannot be done without changing BCM.

Hi, Did you get an answer on costs. I'm trying to fit Caprice seats in my son's Omega! They have more wires than Ausgrid under them.

Seems to happen regardless of fresh air or recirculated air. Also my brother in laws ute also has the smell. Only going uphill and only for short periods.

Hi, Does anyone know where in Sydney I can get my VF BCM flashed for TPMS. JHP do it in Melbourne. One or two other companies do it in VIC but I cannot find anyone in Sydney. I cannot believe that a Sydney company isn't capable of doing this.
