    VE SSV AC not cold

I pushed through Winter with the same problem, come the first warmish day a few weeks ago I was straight to Holden to get it fixed. They pretty much held me to ransom on the price, I would've paid whatever to have the AC cranking again lol. Not much change from 800.

    My Poor Baby

So did you get a ticket for "failing to stop", not sure what state you're in but in Qld that doesn't even exist. And if you got that "charge" as you say, how could you have got a caution?

    My Poor Baby

Police don't have to pursue the matter if its not in the public interest to do so, this applies to certain criminal offences too.

    My Poor Baby

From the imformation you've provided so far, it appears you'll be unit 1 - take your pick: a traffic infringement notice for follow too closely or a notice to appear at the magistrates court for drive without due care and attention. You'll be the at fault party, and if the police didn't...

Looking for a hard lid on a VE ssv. Any recommendations?

Get something with a twin hump for sure mate, don't go a flat lid unless that's your thing. Check out Zinardi hard lids. Don't go a dodgy eBay special whatever you do, unless you enjoy cracked fiberglass or warping in the warmer months. Not much change from about $1800 is right.

    ve walkinshaw bonnet

Hypa Customs on the Gold Coast do good work. Looking around $500-600 painted + fitted + fibreglassed in so it sits smooth and doesn't just look placed on and strange.

    2010 Black SV6 SIDI

Nice ride. Do you work at like an Autobarn type place?

    My10 sv6 ute

Debadged and quad tips...I rest my case. I haven't made any disparaging comments against 6 cylinders, my argument is towards those who make an intentional effort to make their ride look like an 8 when it isn't. I'm not saying you specifically are, but there are many in the same boat who do. Fair...

My chev badge is purely for the aesthetics, I've debadged the SS badges, do you want them to put on your 6 to further try to convince fools that you don't drive a 6?

    My10 sv6 ute

I'd rather be driving around in an 8 with any badge than a 6 fullstop.

    painting v8 engine covers

Sorry to bump an old thread but just saw that engine cover paintwork and it's absolutely awesome!!

Make sure you de-badge it and put quad tips on like 90% of the people on here with sixes who want people to think they have an eight. Nice paint though.

VE Ute Hard Lid - SE QLD

Mate forget trash off eBay, send them to Utemart at Burleigh on the GC, perfect job. Won't get much change out of 2 grand for a Zinardi twin hump lid painted and fitted for a VE tho.

    My 2010 Red VE Ute

Looks the goods mate, hard lid is definitely going to set it off. Good to see a slightly modded ride rather than the usual stock as a rock threads that people seem to post a bit of lately.

    SSV Morpheus Ute

Mate she still dances around a bit in the wet trying to get the power to the ground. Installed some HIDs on the weekend and topped up all the levels, looking at putting a few km's on over the Easter break.

    SSV Morpheus Ute

Few more pics. Added the Zinardi hardlid, big thanks to Utemart at Burleigh Heads for the great finish and fit. Reverse camera fitted, the views not too bad with the Zinardi lid as it's tapered down the middle so gives a decent view when reversing. Looking at adding DRL's and then exploring...

    How to reduce police attention?

It's more the location than the type of car that attracts the attention of police. They do intelligence driven patrols of areas that are high volume crime areas, eg getting smashed by a bunch of breaks. Flasher cars get more attention from the police, but "random" breath tests aren't random at...

I've debadged all the rear and side badging. I like the gold of the front chev grille, sets off the purple nicely. Will give her a bath tomorrow and chuck up a few more pics.
