Beautiful car mate. I've always loved the gts with the senator spoiler. IMO it needs either it's stock spoiler or the senator spoiler else it looks to flat.

Nah I got mine added to my car. Did it the easy way and just went to holden. Cost me $450 for painted and fitted and the spoiler. So not to bad. As for handles. eBay. Buy it now for $50 for a whole set of chrome handles. eBay really is beautiful with VE gear. Can get most of it on eBay...

Beautiful car mate. If your looking for suggestions for mods which aren't going to put you out of pocket. Here are some I've done to my VE Calais Mirrors (I have chrome but you can find silver ones) Lip spoiler. Just adds some class. Rims. If your not lowering it like me, just go 18's or 19's...

Update: My mate just got a sound system put in his black edition clubby. Sounds amazing. He's sending me what exactly he did and then I'm going the same system. Setting me back about $2000. Hopefully it'll be all go ahead within the next few weeks Also getting bonnet fixed and front end...

As long as you keep the chrome strip around the edge it'll look sick. Never been a fan of full black rims (a few exceptions) just cause they look to stock when driving. But so far absolutely loving the car mate

Yeah I'm going to take it apart when I get spare time and have a look. I'm 99% sure it's just the back speakers cause I can hear it right next to my head as I drive and others have said it sounds like it with there head next to it. Ah looks like calais06. Really not sure if I'll lower it or...

This car was sold ages ago guys for a Audi. Dunno if he will even check this, but try googling sly6, there is other info about how he did stuff somewhere I think.

Loving the blue inserts on the wheels, mixes very nicely with the car. And I've always loved the sv6/SS's with no spoiler. Looks very clean mate

Ah ok, I'm In Vic. Don't want to spend that much on doing it. If it was cheap I would have but thought id ask anyway :) Well I'll do speakers etc first, and if there is leftover money I'll grab an amp too. I'm saving for a clubby at the moment too, so don't want to overspend yet :)

Hey guys, Looking at upgrading my speakers in my 2006 VE calais. I have 2 blown speakers in the rear (both back door speakers) So seeing as they need to be replaced thought i might look into a new set for the whole car. Only thing is i want to keep them the same size so the covers wont need...

When my timing chain stretched, it only cost me $900 for it to be fully repaired by Holden. On the 06/07 model V6 Ve's they changed the timing chain size, which then 07 onwards was changed back. GMH have admitted this is a fault and even if the car isnt under warrently (like mine, 102,000kms)...

I dont particuarly like chev badges at all, but i will admit the gold badge with the gold rims does suit very nicely. If they werent gold rims i'd say kill the badge or put a black holden badge on. Also i know u can get chrome trim handles and windows etc, possible to get gold ones? just...

Yeah I have clubby rims on mine, suits the omegas/Calais awesome. And cops don't really look at them cause they are only 19" and don't stand out. I'm looking into upgrading all the speakers in my car, the rear 2 are blown haha..so might as well do the whole set, just gotta work out what to get

Series 1 or 2 SSV rims? You can pick them up on eBay in good condition for under $1000 with tyres sometimes. Yeah for such a small spoiler it is costly, I bought mine from Holden and they painted and fitted for $450 for my calais...but well well worth it. Adds so much class Also love the new...

Well holden have decided to give me full refunds with my car issue. So looking at getting about $2500 back and car being fixed for free :) Now time to upgrade my speakers. Anyone have any suggestions for speakers? i want to keep the same size speakers so it has the covers still over them.

I've had a look for them too. Only place I've found is directly from holden/hsv. Unless u want the full chrome handles u can buy them off eBay for $50 a set

Hey mate, noticed the P plates. how do you go with insurance? i have 19's on mine and after that the insurance company advised me not to go much higher on P's cause itll kill my insurance lol. I also went the SS exhaust in the end, adds just a little tone but doesnt drone.

The SSV tail lights tinted would have looked wicked. Have you put wheels on yet? Another suggestion, which i always love is just a bootlip spoiler, just adds that little bit of class to the car.
