It gets full boost around 4.5 sometime 5k so think its time for bigger turbo and tune. Ill upload pics later, I got some lowered springs for it, put new pads and rotors in front and new pads in back,changed exhaust manifold gasket, Gave her a good wash. Oh and gearbox exploded 2 nights ago :/...

Never ended up putting the manifold up just have it sitting on a shelf in my room. I was busy on the weekend and this happened. For the price, pretty happy with the quality of the kit, came with everything i needed. Noticed its a little bit more torquey, A fair bit more laggy but...

^^ Full of win. The paint is all in good fun, I really couldn't care less what colour my rocker cover is, will look better once I get a FMIC and it is only paint after all, not to hard to change. Besides we all no Green is for go ;)

I have started cleaning up the engine bay but the old owner left it in a bit of a mess, I have relocated the boost controller and moved some of the wiring, still along way to go though. Still undecided on turbo, Tax time will be FMIC, z32 maf, fuel pump and tune and some new shocks and springs...

I'm sure they would suit. I have plans for more power after tax time. Current list will be Gt2871r, Fmic (unsure of brand), 255l Walbro Pump, 740cc injectors(Unsure if I could get away with keeping stock ones), z32 afm. Then later in the year I will lower it and tackle suspension.

I was reading up about them just before, should have done before purchasing in hindsight. But I figure for a few months will be alright, Most stories that I have read people were treating them like a Pod filter and expecting them to last years

Green is kinda my thing haha, after all it is just paint :) To add to my theme now and because thought I might as well give it a go until i find a snorkel to go on my stock airbox I have up in the shed.

Did a cold compression test (because was lazy and had a spare bit of time after tafe) and got around 125ish compression on 3 cyls and 118 on 1 of them. (I guess i should have done it properly) Seems a bit low but I guess turbo would have lower compression ratio, Not sure what psi they are...

Did my manifold and turbo gaskets the other day, so much better. the gasket between turbo and manifold was blown out on one side. loving having all my power back. Just a drive down at Avon Dam in Bargo and a couple of bad quality pics

I will take some photos, on line that goes into the thermostat is leaking but i'm assuming that is because I re used the old washer as I lost 1 of the new ones :P Still need to get new gaskets for the manifold (yes i know i should have done them when it was out but i need it back on the road)...

I just went with some ebay specials so will monitor over the next few weeks, only cost about $80 inc postage fit them up today fixed all my exhaust leaks, (major one was from manifold to turbo was about 5mm play) , checked all the turbo fins and shaft and was very minimal play and no pitting or...

Well my lines turned up today, So hopefully get them done on sunday (If I am capable of working, My 21st party is on saturday ;) )

As if you would buy an s chassis if you were worried about wheel spin ;) One of the coolant pipes that goes to my turbo is leaking :/ so have to find a new pipe might get a braided line. Found my exhaust leak as well, two nuts have rattled off wear the dump pipe connects to the turbo. and its...

I would Gladly put it back to stock look wise, power bug already bit in too hard though, I am glad I don't have a massive cannon on it. Going to try find a stock kit :) front bar for a start

might have to at least polish it up a tad, or ditch the varex alltogether, could be a tad louder ;)

Its got 3" from front pipe back ;) prefer a twin tip over cannon. Maybe I will see if i can get a whole spec r kit :/

When I put the stock bar on is it going to look strange if i leave the skirts and rear bar?

Looks good :D kit can be changed if it bothers you, if you like it leave it. should be able to get a skinny flat blade in the indent on the RHS of the picture and gently lever it out

Good point, leaning towards coilovers more now, want to get dump pipe, front mount and fuel pump first then ill go suspension and other stuff. Thinking of putting a stock airbox I have in but dont have the top part of thw snorkel

Stock kit looks the best imo, At least the kit isn't to hektic jdm as f*ck civic spec but still. Part of me wants to shave the spoiler and part of me wants to keep it purely cause alot of people remove them and I want it to be slightly different.
