Just something for the auto as well.....look at a deep dish pan to stop any flaring between gears.

Had a VE Calais V8....changed the diff from a 2.92 to a 3.45. Had to get it recalibrated because the speedo was out & also change the auto shift points. Its not that hard to understand.

So you gained 65kW at the engine from a OTR, Maf Tune and cat-back......:hmmm:

If all you want is more sound, a 3" cat back exhaust will be all you need.

You'd be better off leaving the standard air box in. Ive seen dyno results where the "SS Reductions" set up has actually lost power. Just get an OTR, do it once and do it right. Nice car man !!!!!!!!

No-one is going to pay 5k for a car " just for parts". Unfortunately its just too expensive. Yes, its a rare find, but unless someone wants this exact car for a project, its about 3k overpriced....

Sounds VERY fishy to me..........what supposed "new parts" is he waiting on...& what was actually wrong with the computer? If they are stupid enough to fit a new ECU to it & hope it magically fixes any problems, I doubt it will actually drive if it has those mods fitted. Good luck with it........

Where did "I" state that they changed power....please show me. When I changed mine it was for increased acceleration, nothing more . Thanks for pointing it out though....:clap:

Listen to what Foggsy said. I changed my Calais from the 2.92 to a 3.46lsd. Definitely one of the BEST mods you can do to an Auto.

Pretty sure it may have an engine with 8 cylinders & might even have a SS logo or 2 somewhere on body work.:idea:

Cant believe Holden havent fixed this issue . It happened in my 2006 Calais & its still going on in 2014.....pathetic :hmmm:

Tune - Intake - exhaust - cam......you will soon forget about your SS being a "base model". The Dealers will try to screw you over with change-over $$$$.

Must be a very happy dyno....... 294rwkw for those mods is too high. Those numbers are what you would expect fom a LS3.

Seems to be ALOT of bugs with the new alert systems. Surely some of these problems had to occur during testing...... A few gremlins are expected in any new model, but quality control is definitely lacking.
