    Vu Ls1 to L77 swap

    you could use a converter box instead of changing reluctor and cam gear. if you going to change the reluctor you'll need to use a 2x cam gear. you'll also need a cam sensor extention harness, map extention harness ( use a ls1 map with a piece of pvc hose to addapt to the l77's biger hole )...

    if its L98 fairly straight forward, mostly plug n play, use your throttlebody also differences in waterpump ( which could be different tophose ) and will require a tune.

    pioneer arent what they used to be, i have one of the first ones in my vu ( which is great ) and a new one in my ve, the quality just isnt there anymore. cheep end would be a kenwood or jvc.

    vats would need to be disabled at the very least, bcm is linked with vx vin ( to which the vy is different ), id just use the vx's comp and retune if needed.

    there is a ve in the back of one of the recent street machine mags with a x ram, it did mention that it had to be modified ( dunno if it was just for emissions gear, as ram doesnt have it )

    if you can find them cheap enough, redline brembo's, though it would also require clearance, depending on the type of 20" you have.

    you'll need to change front rotors( starfire uses torana rotors and calipers ) master cylinder and servo and a disc brake diff, wheels will need to be changed as well, v8 springs and shocks, if you plan on changing to power steering you'll need to change rack and k-rack.

    with maf, it could be a bad earth at the back of lhs head. a clogged oil sensor will throw a high voltage code, it could also be from a clogged gallery or pickup, it put a good oil flush through it before doing sensor, didnt say what engine spec, if its l76-77 ithere can be a little filter under...

    it drops down development costs, tooling etc if they only have to make 1 type thats multiuse rather than several different types.

    yep, mod the same as in clip or use countersunk bolts. also the edelbrock pump will bolt up if you want something heavy duty

    check behind intake manifold, if theres oil there its probably the oil sensor

    id be checking the back of it for clearance of timing cover as ls1 ( which this looks like )will bolt up if the bolts are ground down/replaced with a flat head
