you could use a converter box instead of changing reluctor and cam gear. if you going to change the reluctor you'll need to use a 2x cam gear. you'll also need a cam sensor extention harness, map extention harness ( use a ls1 map with a piece of pvc hose to addapt to the l77's biger hole )...

if its L98 fairly straight forward, mostly plug n play, use your throttlebody also differences in waterpump ( which could be different tophose ) and will require a tune.

have you actually changed the alternator?

hurricane 1 7/8 into 3.5 collector, outlaw steel cats a decent x and mercury 402 mufflers.

depends on previous setup, a retune will get the optimal out of it, but may not be needed straight away

oem style, phillips, narva used to be my first choice but there qualiy control has slipped somewhat. if after led conversion probably superior vision.

have you unbolted the lower transmission bolts that are bolted to sump?

pioneer arent what they used to be, i have one of the first ones in my vu ( which is great ) and a new one in my ve, the quality just isnt there anymore. cheep end would be a kenwood or jvc.

vats would need to be disabled at the very least, bcm is linked with vx vin ( to which the vy is different ), id just use the vx's comp and retune if needed.

there is a ve in the back of one of the recent street machine mags with a x ram, it did mention that it had to be modified ( dunno if it was just for emissions gear, as ram doesnt have it )

you'll need to change front rotors( starfire uses torana rotors and calipers ) master cylinder and servo and a disc brake diff, wheels will need to be changed as well, v8 springs and shocks, if you plan on changing to power steering you'll need to change rack and k-rack.

water pump maybe

oil sensor is yes and a pita to get to

with maf, it could be a bad earth at the back of lhs head. a clogged oil sensor will throw a high voltage code, it could also be from a clogged gallery or pickup, it put a good oil flush through it before doing sensor, didnt say what engine spec, if its l76-77 ithere can be a little filter under...

looks too weak to be anything of significance on a commodore, it does however look to be off a clothes peg

i wouldnt imagine it would if its just deleting the rear screen, if your cutting metal though it would be a different story

externally they are the same, you wont need to change anything

yep, mod the same as in clip or use countersunk bolts. also the edelbrock pump will bolt up if you want something heavy duty

alot of them do, ive had a couple of sets that come with both nuts and hub spacers

check behind intake manifold, if theres oil there its probably the oil sensor

id be checking the back of it for clearance of timing cover as ls1 ( which this looks like )will bolt up if the bolts are ground down/replaced with a flat head

indeed, if staying the same ratio, id get a trutrac than trying to get a good lsd

how old are the o2 sensors? also check wiring and fuses
